Touching On: Financial Impact of Support Services

Integrated healthcare services, integrated support services was a novel concept 15 years ago. It is in the DNA of TouchPoint Support Services. And when you think about how that works operationally, it’s about having service at our core, at our center, and making sure that we’re owning that overall experience. So we take these small tweaks and procedures, assign those tasks out to the right people, and get the job done most effectively.

Cost and quality are not necessarily mutually exclusive. From a food perspective, if you’ve got too many cooks in the kitchen, that’s an age-old adage, it can hinder service. From an EVS perspective, you’re going to experience the same thing. And what we do in TouchPoint is we go deep in the data, deep into our analytics to understand the full continuum of care for that patient experience so that we can really do some operational engineering and process flow engineering to make that as effective as possible. And that’s how we can take a very, very targeted approach to ensuring that we’re delivering services for those patients specifically.
